Established in 2004.

Steve and Clarann Bjers are the owners of Bjers Auto Repair Shop.

With over 40 years experience, they maintained several ASE certifications, and Steve holds a Ford Factory Master Technician Certification and a California Brake and Lamp inspector certification.

He has managed and operated several other repair facilities over his career and has successfully built a business with integrity, reliability, professionalism and excellent skills.

Customer satisfaction is his primary goal and he has achieved this goal as many new customers are referred by previous satisfied customers.

Our business started as a small family owned business and has grown over the past two decades from a one car stall to a five stall with lifts operation.

We have added several top trained technicians to better serve all your repair needs.

Do you offer financing options for car repairs?

We don't currently offer financing, but if you need to use a credit card or another form of payment such as a bank loan you're are welcome to do that.

Are your technicians specialized in their area of expertise?

Absolutely.

With 50 years of combined experience, our specialized technicians and certain certifications in their area of expertise, such as diesel specialists. Some of our technicians are Ford Factory Certified and we can provide accurate diagnostics, expert repairs, and thorough maintenance for your car, truck, diesel, fleet, and RVs.

Do you do tire services?

We do not offer tire services at this time. But if we notice any issues with your tires we will certainly inform you. We can also recommend an excellent tire service provider, as we have a great referral program to help direct you to a provider that will take great care of you.

Do you offer a guarantee on your services?

Yes. To back up our commitment, all of our work comes with a three-month, 4,000-mile guarantee unless otherwise specified.

What is the difference between a free estimate and a paid diagnostic?

The difference between a free estimate and a paid diagnostic revolves around the depth of the evaluation and the associated costs.

Free Estimate:

  • A free estimate is based upon what the customer tells us they are specific need.; it provides a rough idea of potential costs based on typical scenarios.

  • This is Not highly accurate; it may not account for underlying issues that are not immediately visible or apparent.

  • If you call and say your car might need a new starter, you'll receive a cost estimate for the starter replacement and labor.

  • However, this estimate might not include additional issues that are discovered later.

Diagnostic (Diagnosis)

  • A Diagnostic is based upon our having to determine what the customers vehicle need is.

  • This is a comprehensive examination of the vehicle to determine the exact issues.

  • A fee is charged for the service and is revealed prior to the work beginning. (At times the fee for diagnosis is applied to the pending work order).

  • This is an In-depth, detailed inspection and testing to accurately identify the problems.

  • More accurate than a free estimate, but still not a complete guarantee as some issues might only become apparent once repairs begin.

In summary, a free estimate gives a general idea based on initial observations or based on the basic information customer provides.

Normally it is common known issues, while a paid diagnostic offers a more thorough and precise understanding of the vehicle's problems, although neither can guarantee that no additional issues will be found during the repair process

My Wife and I broke down in Dunsmuir Ca. in our 1988 Toyota Mini-Motorhome, we had to be towed to Bjers auto repair in Mt. Shasta Ca.

Those guys jumped on it right-away! Our fan blade came apart and took out the radiator and the waterpump belt.

I was camping at Lake Siskiyou when my Check Charging System alert displayed on my Honda Accord the day I was supposed to drive home to the Bay Area.

My husband I decided to spend our anniversary camping for 3 days which lead to 6 days due to our car problem.

The friendly squirrels in this campsite hid a few gems of pine cones under our hood, leading to a grinding noise and evidently a broken part and fluid leak on our Honda Element.

We decide to have it towed to the nearest shop and spoke to Steve. I am blown away with the honesty, on point communication and expectation of this place.

My husband had no way of getting there except by razor scooter since ride shares is difficult from a camp ground and our aaa service will not tow the vehicle back to us. (Sucks!!) thank you for the prompt delivery of our vehicle and the friendly and honest service Steve!
